Past Project Updates

September 2026 - Harrogate Road and Erickson Road Intersection Closure - Extended to September 18.

The intersection of Harrogate Road and Erickson Road will be temporarily closed until September 18 to accommodate construction.

Traffic impacts include:

  • Harrogate Road will be closed between Larwood Road and Erickson Road, with resident and emergency access available via Harrogate Road and Larwood Road only.
  • Traffic on Erickson Road will continue with single-lane alternating traffic, controlled 24 hours a day by Automated Flagger Assistance Devices (AFADs).
  • No turns will be permitted between Harrogate Road and Erickson Road in either direction.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes where possible, allow additional travel time, and obey all traffic control devices.

Spring 2026

  • Work on Erickson Road is now underway. Construction will begin near the Larwood Creek crossing and move west along Erickson Road. It is expected to be completed by end of year.
  • Beginning May 21, a parking area at the west end of the construction zone (west of Nature Park Drive) will be closed. Trail access will remain open. See map below.
  • Residents should expect single-lane alternating traffic along the corridor.
