    previous next
In May 2024, the Wei Wai Kum First Nation and the City of Campbell River unveiled an arch carved by Junior Henderson, Ernie Puglas, and Karver Everson. The arch reflects the skill, history and cultural depth of the Wei Wai Kum people, and it was the City’s privilege to participate in this unveiling. The arch stands as a symbol of the path we share with the Wei Wai Kum Nation and our commitment to fostering a community that respects its roots and embraces its future. The arch is located downtown at Tyee Spit. Photo: Wei Wai Kum First Nation Treaty Society, taken by Erin Wallis.
